About me

Profile

Ukraine-based screenwriter, novelist, English teacher, and translator with over 15 years of experience in storytelling, language education, and creative writing. I specialize in writing screenplays along with creating signature courses where films and TV series are the main learning tool. Master’s Degree in Linguistics and Translation, as well as an international certificate in screenwriting.

My story

My journey began in 2007, when I started working as a technical translator and English tutor. In 2012, while living in the USA, I developed my own teaching system, which later grew into an English school in Ukraine. From 2014 to 2024, the school became a place where hundreds of students improved their English. When I eventually had to close it, I didn’t give up on teaching. I continue to work with students individually, keeping my method alive.

In 2020, a new chapter opened for me — screenwriting. It all started with an idea for an English-teaching sitcom inspired by Extra. After completing several screenwriting courses, I've got so many ideas for new stories. Over the last five years, I have written six feature-length spec scripts ready for production. My screenplay Wish Granting Factory has already received international recognition, winning awards at the Best Script Award (London) and the Chicago Script Awards (USA).

  • Now I combine both of my passions: teaching and writing. I continue to create original workbooks and courses based on movies and TV series, helping students not just learn English but live it through stories, dialogues, and characters. Alongside teaching, I’m actively building my screenwriting career: pitching my scripts, preparing new projects, and working toward international collaborations.
Looking ahead, my plan is to expand my English with Movies courses internationally, publish my learning materials, and eventually offer them as a franchise. As a writer, my goal is to bring my screenplays to the big screen, share my stories with a global audience, and one day walk the red carpet with a film I’ve written.
